Ashley just turned 1 on 24 January 2013. I know it’s two months plus since her first birthday but it doesn’t stop me from talking about the celebration here. Hehe!
So we’ve decided to have a Baby TV themed birthday party for Ashley. We had it at May Flower Restaurant, Jalan Bundusan. It’s just a simple party attended by close friends and families.
Since we chose to have it in a restaurant, we have to cancel some Plan A decoration idea because #1 limited space for extra buffet table and #2 they didn’t allow us to stick anything on the wall. Those are my only disappointments about the restaurant. Food and service was superb!
May Flower Restaurant prepared the ‘Happy Birthday’ backdrop. Complimentary. That’s why it’s out of theme. 
I prepared the one hung on top. It’s Ashley’s photos collage from birth to 11 months old.
I ordered Ashley’s birthday cake from Olivia of Bake Me A Cake. It’s my second order after Michelle’s birthday last year! I made another order from her because her cakes are all very beautiful. Both cakes I ordered from her tasted very good too.
The cupcakes around the cake are specially baked by my sister Carol. They are all heavenly delicious too! The cupcake topper are designed and prepared by yours truly.

Awh, Ashley’s adjusting her cute headband while being carried by jiejie Michelle. She’s really the spotlight because everyone wanted to carry and play with her! She wanted to walk around but wires are on the floor and I’m afraid she’ll kick them accidentally and fall down.

Ashley’s cake is Baby TV outside and rainbow inside! She loved it to bits. She requested to eat it many times from her beloved papa and papa is so glad to feed her. Harry, as usual, loves to feed his kids. He’ll get excited if the kids requested for more.
